13" antique composition cloth F & B Effanbee Boy Doll w Käthe Kruse's head mold

DESCRIPTION:
This auction is for an early antique 14" tall toddler boy doll who resembles a Kathe Kruse. Reference shows similar doll known as Effanbee "Billy Boy" who was made in 1912 being similar to Kathe Kruse's Fiamingo head mold.
EIH Horsman also made a doll with this head mold in 1915.
I do not know the past history of this doll and or if any restore or paint touch up was done, he shows overall wear and composition crazing. This doll is marked faintly on the back of the head that looks like "JRM?.." see photos and you decide, it is very faint and worn. Doll is a flange flared composition head with cloth body torso having composition arms from the elbow down with most fingers being scuffed off at the tips, see photos. He has sewn on black boots and is metal clip jointed at the shoulders and hips.  Great character face with painted blue eyes, a white accent dot to the side of each pupil, he has dark single stroke eye brows and closed molded mouth with blushed cheeks.  He has painted molded orange brown hair. Overall wear and scuffs through the composition head and hair.  Wears replacement red and white shirt with red cords. This "early" doll would be a "Treasure" for collection or display!
