Condition: She's a beauty. Has cracks and flacking of the composition material. There are areas of discoloration, especially on the body. She has very noticeable damage to her legs and feet. The sleep eyes do not open and shut on their own. The cry box is inside, however, she does not cry. There is a hole in the material on her body, .

Description

Antique composition doll.
This doll has a composition head, arms and legs. Her body is stuffed with straw. I think her tongue inside her mouth is material and her teeth wiggle. Her eyes are sleep eyes but they don't open and shut on their own. I
believe there is a cry box in her body but that does not work. Please refer to condition description and pictures for additional details.
Measures approximately 19" long.
This doll came from a local estate. She was the doll of a woman in our community who passed away a few years ago. This woman lived in the same house her entire life. This doll has been tucked away in that house since the early 1920s would be my guess.
She needs some TLC but still a beauty!!
