    Description

Antique Madame Hendren WAUKANTAUK Composition/Cloth Doll; 18.5”;gently restored. Condition is "Used".
DESCRIPTION: The doll is measuring Around 18 to 18 1/2 inches but it’s stamped on the body with the genuine Madame Hendren name And made in the USA with the number 19 so I don’t know if that means the length of the doll or a product number I don’t know I can’t find any information on that. her beautiful blue eyes open and close very easily; you still see her painted upper and lower eyelashes. You see her painted brown eyebrows her mouth is open showing two teeth and her tongue and you still see the little red dots in her nose and great coloring to her face with no crazing. The downside is the small hairline crack above her right eye and below it and it has been touched up but you still see it so I had to point it out. she has a cute brown wig that’s not glued on please look at all the pictures so you can follow what I’m saying the other part of the touch up for her was her head you can see that it was repainted and that’s why I didn’t glue the wig back on so you could see that but there are no other cracks or breaks or any other problems and then it is marked on the back of her neck or shoulder plate with the a.m. copyright symbol co.; which stands for Averill manufacturing company. her Composition legs and arms are in great shape to all her original fingers and toes are there again her pink cloth body shows some stitching areas that were fixed in a couple spots but it’s really not that bad and again the stamp is on there. The doll is dressed in a onesie it’s very old, her slip which also is very old , And her Oregon dress also includes her vintage shoes and socks and very vintage Bonnet. Most important is the genuine paper tag that says about Lloyd’s Patton voice box and how to operate it that actual Crier is in the dog if you follow the instructions it will make the noise guaranteed. Also included is the metal good luck coin. and remember this doll was manufactured in the early 1920s
