This basketball is signed by Hall of Famer, 8x All Star, 3x BLK Champ, 6x All-Defensive, 4x Def. POY, 2x TRB Champ, 3x All-NBA, and 1991-92 All-Rookie Dikembe Mutombo. Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo is a Congolese-American former professional basketball player. Mutombo played 18 seasons in the National Basketball Association. Outside of basketball, he has become well-known for his humanitarian work. Dikembe played for the following teams Denver Nuggets (1991-96), Atlanta Hawks (1996-2001), Philadelphia 76ers (2001-02), Brooklyn Nets (2002-03), New York Knicks (2003-04), and Houston Rockets (2004-09). He went to Georgetown University from 1988-91 before becoming the 4th overall pick of the 1991 NBA draft, and accumulating 3,289 blocks (2.8 b/g) over the entirety of his professional basketball playing career as a 7’2” center.
