He has the

on the back at his waist:

in a diamond
. He was made to celebrate Ideal's
tenth anniversary
of doll making as well as to honor our American HERO soldiers.

His handsome face is flesh-tinted with boyish features and excellent color, his hands are flesh-tinted and his light brown or dark blond, molded hair is side-parted. He wears a very detailed, molded-on, brown doughboy uniform, boots, black tie, U.S. Army lapels, belt and black buttons
along with his
original brown pressed felt hat
with band
which is nearly always missing
.
He has
hip and shoulder joints
with a ball-jointed
swivel head
. He holds a pose well and is tightly strung. See him on page 159, Doll Values-12th edition-Linda Edwards. He is in very good overall condition along with his
original brown pressed felt hat
with no damages, no repairs, no cracks and
deserves a place of honor
in your collection. (some paint wear which is normal as shown, no repairs) Sure to become a family heirloom and treasured for generations. Other members of his trop shown are
