    Description

    Antique African Nomadic Tent Stake
    By the Taureg People
Features Diamond Grid Pattern = Symbol of Protection
Excellent ANTIQUE condition - have no idea of age.  It is handmade and there are lots of imperfections. The head actually has a partial crack in it but it would still hold a tent corner.
Almost 15" long by 6" wide at the head.
The light color wood has grid marks - common symbol for protection.
Provenance can be provided - it, already of a vintage age, was presented to E---- H------, a state department employee when he served in Africa around 1950.
Shipping is as fast as I can via USPS Priority or FedEx double-bubble wrapped in a padded box (
