***Brief Description***
The stamps are considered 'FINE' by my standards.
The margins are offset ever so slightly, but are still visible
There is an extended bow to the stamp as well, but not too, too bad.
There are 'NO' hinge marks present at this time.
The overall quality and design aesthetic is outstanding.
A rare find, indeed
This is also a block of 4 stamps with 'NO' block number present.
The colors are bold, the picture is clear and the typography is excellent.
A must have for any collector.
**Historical Significance**
The 1939-40 World's Fair was the second most expensive world's fair of all time.
My counties participated, and over 44 million people attended its exhibits in two seasons.
It was the first exposition to be based on the future, according to the official pamphlet.
Its opening slogan, "Dawn of a New Day", allowed visitors to look at the world of tomorrow.
These stamps, from Ecuador, were issued to commemorated the event via an 'Air Mail' theme.
The colorful palette and vivid design make it a 'must have' for any collection.
